          What is a tasty Bit?

Throughout this project we were tasked with identifying the particularly interesting bits and pieces of 6 different typefaces, choosing the 6 most interesting instances from each , hence the "tasty bits'' of text. next we translated the text into compelling visual compositions using space and color. each of the typefaces hat its unique quirks and features that set them apart from the rest. my approach was to identify the pieces that conveyed the 'mood' and general visual language of each typeface,

My approach to this task was to look for the pieces of the font that sets it apart from the others. This could be an interesting serif or angle of the type that created a compelling visual concept unique to that particular typeface.
not all of the bits made it into the final compositions, but all provided a unique insight int the nuances of each typeface.
After finding the tasty bits, they were arranged into multiple monotone compositions. I advanced into this concept  by focusing less on the individual forms in space, but by creating a sense of form/counter form  in the space provided
My approach to color was to try and incorporate a considerable amount of overlap to create a bigger spectrum of color, as we were only able to use cyan, yellow, and magenta, but with the overlap i could create red, green and violet. as well.
The mockups I created Give me a feel for how this composition would look in the real world. I feel that the banner best shows the entire page in the rectangle layout; though the milk carton gives me a better sense of the colors in space. all of the compositions have a playful, colorful feel to them that seems very approachable to the eye.
